Jonathan has been tying flies for probably a year now. I'm told this specimen is an "olive woolly bugger". The other pictures are from Gardner Park and the garden at Trethewey House, near Mill Lake. I took almost 250 shots today, so I've only included a few here, and a few more on my flickr site.

Today I tested a lens I might buy at the Clearbrook Public Library. There was a group of women exercising on the property. At first I thought these balls were sculptures, but then realized they must be part of the exercise equipment. I should have known, it'd be a little too cool for Abbotsford. I wondered if they placed them specifically in this pattern.



















I'm saving my favourite picture for tomorrow.

On the way home we took an unplanned detour. (We thought we were on our way home but we weren't). Turned out good for both of us - both the fishing and the light were good.
