These pictures were taken last week. These blossoms made me do a double-take while I was driving (they were in a place I would not think to look for beauty - in front of the McDonald's on Clearbrook Road). I made a mental note to return while it was still frothing pink petals.

This pair of swans appeared on one of the lakes I frequent. Lucky for me, they were practicing their synchronized swimming.

These photos are from a couple days. Some are from the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, where I saw only two herons. (Apparently, this is the season for herons to get busy with their family-making). And I would also like to add that spring is here.
